Hi, I sold an item on July 5 I received this payment in different currency not in us dollars. On your website my asking price is $89.10 then my paypal showing $81.16, After I contacted paypal they told me that I should contact you to have my setting that I want the conversion on the buyer end not from me, because now I am not getting my asking price. Actually, I have been selling many items on ebay and I never had this problem, my paypal account always is showing all the transactions in Us dollars so I am getting my asking price. please find a solution for this problem.
Thanks

You will need to go into your paypal account settings
Click on Seller Preferences
Click on update for Block paymentsLimit payments, add instructions, and more
You will see a section that has these 3 [URL removed] (for non ebay sites)
1. Allow payments sent to me in a currency I do not [URL removed]
Yes, accept and convert them to U.S. Dollars. Additional charges apply. (This one will means the seller is responsible for conversion costs)
2. No, deny the payments (This is the one you need to have selected)
3. Ask Me, decide accepting or denying each individual payment (this one will let you decide on a case by case basis..but it will mean waiting for your approval before a customer can purchase)
The second one is the one you need to have selected. This is the one in which the buyer is responsible for converting their currency to your preferred currency before the purchase can be completed
You will have to make the changes in the way you wish to accept payment for non ebay sites in your Paypal account.
Bonanza does not have anything to do with your money is handled through PP
Good Luck

Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
