Any information would be helpful. A translation of the text would also be very helpful. Thank you all in advance.
Thanks Vintage flea… I tried that but I couldn’t make out the letters very well. Thank you for that much.

I think that “Herkunfts-Urkunde” translates to “Certificate of Origin” and “kunstmaler” means “artist”
If you type all the words from the certificate into a german to english translation program, it might give you more info.
I cannot read the rest of the certificate or I would do it for you.
just google German to English translation and you will find a site to help you.
Hope this helps.
Today I did a little more searching and I found this reference to Hans [URL removed]
[URL removed]It is a translation of a German site. Copy & paste the link. Scroll down & you will see a picture of the “certificate of Origin” – just like yours.
I think this is your artist and if so you might have some valuable paintings. The asking price on the painting is Price €: 395.00 = $527 US.
If you think these are the real thing – go to your local art gallery – they will be able to get more info – it is worth a try.
By the way where did you get a crate of these paintings ???

In the UK, several universities [URL removed] are one of the world’s leading universities, attracting students to study from different countries. Students will face several problems since they have come to the UK to start school. The first hurdle is linguistic differences and various forms of thought. Furthermore, in the UK, teaching practices are very different and difficult to adjust from those in China.
