I sold an item to a new buyer who bought even though I said in two places in the listing "I will not ship to (a certain state). I wrote saying I was canceling, refunded her money via PayPal but find no way to cancel the transaction…….even after reading and rereading (many times) the “how to” instructions. Got an e-mail from customer service telling me to read the “how to”. Sent her the PayPal refund transaction number…..no response. Anyone know how I can cancel this sale or do I have to close my account here? Thanks.

Essentially, refunding the sale, through PayPal, cancelled it and sending the refund# is all you do (there is no formal Cancel this sale link on bonz). How you handle your sales is left up to the seller on Bonanza…
For further reference, when you need to cancel sales
Refund through Payment processor, then go to
Selling Dashboard
Billing
Current Statement
Find invoice, click on the small red x or on the link at bottom that says
Request a fee refund for a transaction on this bill
Send the PayPal cancellation #
You will get refund of fees
Requesting the return of the FVF will remove the fee from the next bill (if past bill then you will be credited on the next one)…
Afterwards how you deal further with the sale is up to you
You can click on the invoice and use the Relist Items link and it will put item(s) back in your booth…
You can use the Permanently Hide this Transaction link to remove the invoice if you do not wish to keep it….I don’t do that, as I like to have a visual record of all invoices, even cancelled or non paying ones
