Is there a way to add more item traits?

I am fairly new to Bonanza and am still learning my ways around on this site. Here’s my [URL removed] https://www.bonanza.com/booths/vintagedepot

I am trying to list a new item, a coffee mug and was wondering whether there is a way to add more item traits, like color or measurements. This happened by default when my items were imported from eBay but now when I tried to list a new item by from scratch, I don’t see an option to add more traits to the existing ones. There was a link to Add More Traits but this resulted in Country of Manufacture only.

What am I missing? Any input is appreciated

Item traits are available according to which category the item is placed in..

[URL removed]
Mugs in collectibles will have less item trait options the Mugs in Home & Garden>>Kitchen, Dining & Bar

To add traits that are not listed for your category..you can batch edit the traits

Batch Edit
Click on Item traits and then the Edit Item traits for filtered (or all) items

This will show the traits available for the categories your items are listed in…

To add traits not on your list
Go to
Batch Edit
Search optimize

Click on Add Search Attributes

add them in this format

[[URL removed]

and this will be added to your traits/attributes

or when you make a listing

go to the end of the listing and add [[URL removed]

This will signal that it is a trait/attribute and will not show in the listing description but be added to your trait/attribute list
