I am trying to create a flat rate shipping profile for the US but I do not see where to enter the amount. I can select “Flat Rate” but the only area to enter the amount is for International. I already have profiles for international shipping. I’m new here, please help!

Are you using the Shipping option in batch edit (Update items as a group) or are you setting a shipping profile after you create it in a listing…or are you using “shipping profiles” under shipping and returns tab….
The first option..you choose shipping tab, put in shipping price and select items..this does not save as a profile
The second option..
GO into a listing
Set up your shipping
Add the flat rate and your international options
Under shipping it says…
Apply a saved shipping profile
Save my selections as a new shipping profile
Give the profile a name, then save
This profile will apply the flat rate shipping to any listing you make, if you use the Apply a saved shipping profile either in the listing or in batch edit
Using the “shipping profiles” under shipping and returns tab… is usually for managing the profiles…and as far as I know never been able to add the flat rate there…
I have several profiles
Free shipping
Flat rate for small items
another flat rate for larger items…
and usually just apply them at the time of making the listing
Please note, you can only apply one profile at a time..so it would be best to set one up in a listing and then apply it in batch edit (update items as a group) under the shipping tab
