I do accept offers on my items both here & on ebay. Usually they are offers I will consider~~then you get the low ball offers. I have an item listed for $9.99 + $4.25 shipping 1st class. I get an offer here on Bonanza from a new member for $7.00 shipping included. Do buyers think we are starving & that we will settle for nothing just to make a sale? I’m not desperate enough to accept an offer like that.

One reason I don’t do offer’s, just a total waste of time.

used to be able to counter offer, unfortunately bonanza removed that option…
You can 1) send a message with a counter, if they accept (deny the first offer)..send and invoice or change the price and tell them to check out…
2) Deny the offer… a thanks, no thanks message
Also, some people send low offers while also watching bidding or listings on ebay and just try to go for the lowest or come back and buy if they loose the auctions…

Well, for one you have to look at the bright side, at least you now know people are seeing your listings, now, as far as low ball offers, simply say no if you can’t accept it…plain and simple. We are in a business where it is going to happen, especially if they see the same item cheaper elsewhere, I get it all the time with International buyers and shipping costs. But, use it to your advantage as now you know someone is interested in your item, wheel and deal and make that sale! Now, most people list high and leave room for negotiation, and, there are those that do not, to each their own. Good luck to you and Happy New Year.

What I do is not offer them 99 percent of the time…this is on eBay though since it is all or nothing here on Bonanza. or I guess one could just roll their eyes and move on (I have rolled my eyes seeing as how I am behind a computer or said to myself, what, do you think I’m stupid).
Sorry, I do not usually talk like this…but extreme low ball offers aggravate me.
