Pair 027Ti 1" Dome Tweeters Jbl LX300 LX500 and 44 similar items

Since 1990, I have enjoyed collecting and restoring antique radios and vintage audio.... all items I list will be exactly as described and packed extra well to ensure a safe delivery... buy with confidence ! For sale is a pair of 1" Titanium Dome TWEETERS removed from a vintage set of JBL LX600 speakers that had cabinet damage. Part # on magnets is 027Ti. Also printed on 1 tweeter's magnet is "63E JBH" and on 2nd tweeter's magnet is "1025 JBH". No clue what these represent, but might be different types of date codes? Both play perfectly and sound great ! DCR for both measures about 4.6 ohms on my meter (w/ fresh battery). Based on my research and checking various JBL tech manuals, this model tweeter was also originally used in the other JBL speaker models shown in listing TITLE. In very excellent cosmetic shape except for a minor flaw in 1 tweeter. The 2 THIN, curved protective guards that cover the dome, each have a partial fracture/split located near center of curve. (guessing the protective pieces got bumped sometime during their life?). The pieces are so thin and fragile, that the best thing to do is simply be aware of this, and leave them alone! Being sure to handle very gentle/carefully and avoid applying any direct pressure to the cover pieces. The partial fractures don't have any space between the 2 sides, where you could safely shoot/slide a tad of super glue in between the 2 sides without risking completely breaking the plastic pieces, leaving an open gap. Once tweeter is installed, it will be fine and no-one will even notice this split exists. Just wanted buyer to be aware of flaw so they can be extra careful not to apply any pressure against the 2 arc-shaped guards. Tweeters include rear foam gaskets and mounting screws.
