It is made from Epoxy Resin that is carefully mixed with specific dye to give it this distinctive color pattern. All of our resin products are handmade by us and there's never a second one made exactly the same. So that means that your receiving a one of a kind item. All of our resin products are cured for 3 days to ensure a complete cure is acheived. Once cured we hand sand any imperfections off of the piece. Then once sanded we hand buff the entire piece to give it a natural shine. Epoxy Resin is known for being very durable and long lasting. It will not crack, break, warp, or shatter. It can also withstand heat up to 160 degrees F. Plus, these trays if used for an ash tray are very easy to clean. Simply rinse with water and handwash like any other dish.
