Mc Calls Pattern 2971 40 Minute Ties In 3 and 18 similar items

McCall's vintage pattern 2971, dated 1971, for ties in 3 1/2", 4 1/2" and 3 1/2" bow tie. Tie measurements (3 1/2" and 4 1/2" wide) are taken at widest part. Tie and facing are cut in one piece. Interfacing is the the finished shape of tie. 3 1/2" bow tie is interfaced, self faced, then sewn in place. Bow pattern is given in 14", 15", 16" and 17" neck sizes and closed with a hook and eye closure. If bow is velvet, ribbon neckband is used to avoid thickness under the collar. The pattern has been used is in good condition and is complete with the instructions. The envelope is in fair condition, all of the information on the back is complete and readable.
