Buy with confidence you are getting what you paid for. You are buying an 800 silver (80% silver standard) vintage ITALIAN made hand painted PORTRAIT MINIATURE pin/pendant. This lovely filigree frame pin/pendant measures 1 1/4? long x 1 1/8? wide. I have taken this piece apart so you could see all it?s parts and I have cleaned the frame in my ultrasonic cleaner. The portrait is painted on a thick paper and is behind a glass crystal. I?m sure that if you wanted you could remove the current portrait for something else if you wanted to put in this piece. I was able to easily disassemble this with a prong puller and prong pusher tools. The condition is very good no portrait or glass cover issues, no frame wear issues or damage, and working clasp.
