This is a newer brush from 1996 set in sterling silver and modeled after some of the great Victorian patterns of the turn of the century. That means the brush itself isn?t nearly icky as some of the older models and as in this case, looks to be in very good shape. We originally marveled at how good a shape this was in until we read the date code (attached as a photo) and realized it?s a newer brush. Made by Broadway Co (B Co inset in brush next to marks) and made in Birmingham England. Lion passant mark ensures it is sterling silver. Brush is 9 inches in length and very sturdy and heavy.
