Never installed, the switches were removed is all.
Fits: 2010-2012 Taurus all models. This is leather but not woody - fits the same. If you have a base model non-leather, this is an exact replacement an upgrade.

I thought the old wicked wheel was OK until I removed it. The tips of the blades were paper thin and a couple were bent.
The new wheel was installed and the rebuild kit. What a difference. It was actually quieter and a hugh power difference. It'should a pretty easy rebuild. Go for it.
