In 68-70 Corvettes this tray was made of fiberboard and was very susceptible to moisture. The trays have not been available for many years and therefore they often are removed. On 71-72 Corvettes the tray was fiberglass and it?s likely the tray could still be in those Corvettes. Our speaker assemblies will not fit in a Corvette with rear window tray in its factory position. We estimate that perhaps only 10-15% of the cars still have them in place. Also, please note in your description that on convertibles, the speaker system will not fit because of the space required for the convertible top.
