This Catalog features many items from their buy out of the Marshall Swartchild Company as well as the "Special" Movement purchase of the Seth Thomas Clock Company--- There is a notice on the inside front cover of how the special clock movements purchased from the Seth Thomas buyout had had the Seth Thomas name removed from practically every piece leaving the pieces scarred on the back plate. SO if you are trying to identify a movement and it appears to have the name removed--it could be one of the ones that were actually from Seth Thomas
