General Electric Telechron Vintage model and similar items

This 1960s antique General Electric wall clock that looks like a tiled mosaic is in very good condition. It has been cleaned and polished to almost new condition. The clear crystal has only a few minor imperfections that are hard to find. The clock face is in near new condition. The clock does have some imperfections around the edge of the clock as can be seen above the 12 on the edge. These have been coated with a paint to cover them and prevent additional flaking and shows well while on display. There are no cracks in the beige frame. This nice looking retro 1960's clock is different than most others in that the old humming electric movement has been replaced with a quartz battery movement. So, there is no unsightly electrical cord running down the wall to a plug, which today would be a drawback to these very popular vintage clocks. This movement is a continuous sweep version that does not make a ticking sound. It retains the original hour and minute hands staying true to its original design. It comes with a fresh high-quality battery. I’ve installed a ribbon on the movement that is behind the battery that enables an easy battery change. With just a slight tug on the ribbon the battery pops out. The clock measures 8 x 7 x 2 1/4". It has been tested for a week and keeps very accurate time. It will add a touch of vintage charm to any room. This popular vintage clock would make a wonderful gift for someone who fondly remembers seeing one in their childhood home or in other homes during that era.
