Vintage Downton Abbey Style Edwardian Tea Dress. Early 1900s Great Gatsby Era. Breezy ivory cotton gauze dress, a must have for socialites of the era to be worn to afternoon tea, a staple of Edwardian society. The dress is sheer, and would require a cotton slip or under dress. Beautifully embellished with lace and pleating, it was obviously created with great attention to detail.The sleeves are 3/4 length and the back has tiny, hand crocheted buttons. This dress would be wonderful for a wedding, or as a collectible for display or study.
Size: Women's Small or Extra Small (Vintage sizing differs greatly from today's sizing, so please see measurements to ensure a perfect fit)
Condition: Mint, no sign of wear except as noted: a couple of the button holes have come unraveled a bit.
Measurements: Bust: 34 - 36" Waist: 20" Length: 55" Hips: 40" Sleeves: 20" (measured from neckline to sleeve edge)
