Offered for your consideration is this beautiful set for 6 place settings made by Royal Doulton in the Forest Glen pattern. According to the hallmark at the bottom, these were made in 1973. Made to fit into modern lifestyle freezer, oven and dishwasher proof. This set includes 6 X 5 place settings that's great for formal or casual dinning. Love love the mid century yellow and brown. Below are the measurements: Dinner plate: 10 3/8 " Salad Plate: 9 3/4" Bread and Butter plate: 6 7/8" Saucer: 6 1/4" Cup: 3 1/2" D X 2 7/8" H They are in great condition, may have minor utensil marks on the larger plates. They will fit any style home for a cozy meal. Lambeth Stoneware refers to high-quality, often salt-glazed, stoneware pottery produced in the Lambeth area of London, most notably by the Doulton pottery from the 19th century onwards, as well as other historic Lambeth potteries. The term can also refer to the "Lambethware" range of oven-to-tableware produced by Royal Doulton between 1974 and 1992, which was inspired by the earlier Lambeth stoneware tradition.
