I am pleased to offer from my private collection this absolutely amazing artist copper earrings.
Vintage Original 1940s Modernist Copper Earrings by Pedro Pujol.
Outstanding
early studio mid century modernist copper earrings featuring faces or mask.
Pedro Pujol was a Greenwich Village silversmith
and copper artisan active in the 1940s?1950s. The form, materials, and
handmade characters are typical for the studio craft movement that
defined that period. This original earrings are early example
of Pujol work.
These early wearable sculptures often sold directly at art studios, art fairs and galleries
in New York City.
An ideal piece for collectors of mid-century American
studio jewelry.
