It is a museum quality reproduction made by Kopi Smykker Museum in Denmark. They are famous for their authentic Viking jewelry replicas of historic artifacts. This ship pin measures approximately 1 inches wide and 1 inches tall. This brooch can still be found for retail sale on the KOPI website in Denmark, in Bronze, Sterling Silver, 8K Gold and 14K Gold, I believe this to be the Bronze version as it is unmarked on the back except for the KOPI signature stamp. The Bronze version sells for $108.00 on the website. The metal has not been tested. It is in excellent condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. The gold finish is bright and shiny.
