When hanging from the ceiling with the current chains, the length measures approximately 17" from the top of the metal fixture to the bottom end of the shade. Weight is 3 lbs., 13 oz. Condition: This unit needs to be completely re-wired before installation. It currently has the outdated, original wiring. Meanwhile, aside from a small, light stress crack at the top near the bulb arm attachment connection which is completely unnoticeable when in place, and barely visible at all unless you are specifically looking for it, this is in excellent condition.
