Descripción del Artículo
From the estate of Lt. Colonel Sol. E. Ernst come these two cards from the Comandante and Cadets da Escola de Aeronautica (School of Aeronautics) in Sao Paulo, Brazil. They include a Happy Holidays and Happy New Year card dated 1949-1950, and an invitation to "Aviator Day," at the Cumbica Airport in Sao Paulo. The two lithographic photos shown in our images appear on the inside of the holiday card. No envelopes. Condition: These are original items, not a copy or reproduction. They are in very good to excellent condition. Comments: Lt. Colonel Sol. E. Ernst served in the U.S. Military Mission to Brazil circa 1949-1950. He was an expert in various types of radar bombing equipment and gave a lecture on that subject at the AAF School of Applied Tactics in May, 1945. He also served as a technical advisor for the 1943 movie Bombardier starring Randolph Scott, Pat OBrien, Eddie Albert, and Anne Shirley.
