HIGH ALTITUDE NATURALS TM Citronella (Java) Essential Oil is steam distilled form the Cymbopogon winterianus plant, without the use of any chemicals. The main components are: citronellol, citronellal, geraniol, limonene, and methyl isoeugenol. Java variety is considered to be higher quality than others. This oil has varied medicinal and cosmetic uses. It is great for relieving acne, normalizing oily skin, and many other conditions. This is particularly helpful for addressing infections in wounds. Citronella oil fights depression and gives relief from anxiety, sadness, and negative feelings. It induces a fresh, happy feeling and hope. It helps remove toxins from the body. Removes bad odor, and used in deodorants and body sprays, may be mixed with the bath water to have a refreshing bath. Citronella oil makes a great insect repellent. Also effective on lice, body and head louse, and fleas. This oil has a stimulating effect, and makes a wonderful addition to a massage.
