This is 18 kt. yellow gold over sterling silver and a special brand known on Home Shopping Network with most all having a life time warrenty on gold overlay. I think they are 10 mils of gold over silver. I have placed a coin in the picture so you can have a better idea as to the size of these. Perfect for gift giving or even just as a special gift to your self. The stones are prong set to secure and are about 1/2 carat. I have also shown in the pic the open and close area of these for you to see how they just lock into place to click shut to secure on your ears. Be sure to let me know which color it is that you wish when you order. Right now I have 2 emerald and 2 sapphire in the yellow gold overlay and I have one white gold in the clear cz.
