This is a vintage original Revised First Draft script from the popular 1990's/2000's hospital-themed television drama, ER, created by Michael Crichton. It is from Season 2, Episode 13, which was entitled It's Not Easy Being Greene, in which It's his day off, but Mark (Anthony Edwards) shows-up for work anyway. After a patient dies and Morgenstern (William H. Macy) wants to speak to him, Mark soon regrets coming in after all. Written by Paul Manning and dated December 9, 1995, this Revised First Draft script features one revision (green) dated December 11, 1995. It consists of four acts in 74 pages which were 3-hole punched and bound with two brass brads between a cream cardstock front and back cover. It is in overall very fine condition with a light vertical crease on the front cover to the right of the brads and a 1 in. diagonal crease and signs of wear on the top left corner; a set of staple holes and signs of wear on the top left corner of the title page and following page; and light signs of wear on the back cover . There are no missing pages, tears, stains, writing, or other flaws, nor are there any handwritten notations present within. "It's not easy being green," the phrase which this episode's title derives from, is actually a song written by Joe Raposo and was originally performed by Kermit the Frog for Sesame Street (1969). The phrase appears in pop culture as an expression of melancholy.
