Offered is a 1950?s Chinese couple salt and pepper shakers and Chinese girl figurine holding a straw hat. The shakers were made in the USA by CERAMIC ARTS STUDIO of Wisconsin. The figurine, although not marked, was most likely made in Japan. They were all hand-painted and styled in traditional Chinese garb. All pieces are in very good to excellent vintage condition. There is minimal wear to the paint. The pieces have been lightly cleaned, but may still have some spots of dirt. The shakers do not have any chips, cracks or repairs. The boy shaker has small spots of missing paint to the brim, and the cork is stuck inside the shaker. The girl shaker does not have a cork. The figurine has no chips, cracks or repairs.
