Up for sale is a 5 - 7" piece of Cats Paw Coral. Stony corals such as the Cats Paw Coral are cnidarians, in the same phylum as jellyfish and sea anemones. They usually form colonies, excreting calcium carbonite to protect their soft bodies. The individual polyps that make up a colony of stony coral have a cylindrical body crowned by an oral disc with a mouth and a fringe of tentacles. These beautiful pieces of Cats Paw Coral would be a unique addition to any beach decor.
