Descripción del Artículo

About the item: This autographed 11 x 17 inch art print is certified authentic by CGC as part of their special Signature Series. With Signature Series, a certified CGC witness observes the signing, then immediately takes possession of the item so there is no question of authenticity. It is signed by both Anson Mount (Captain Christopher Pike, who also wrote "The future is what we make it," quoting from his closing speech in Season 1, Episode) as well as Ethan Peck (who also wrote Spock's famous Vulcan farewell, "live long and prosper." It is also signed by the artist who created the image, Al Abbazia (his signature is very tiny, but it is visible just to the right of Nurse Chapel's shoulder). Please note- as my scanner is not large enough to capture the entire piece of art and its CGC encapsulation sleeve, the first image marries the yellow label together with a scan of the print (and it therefore a little off from what it actually looks like in person). The remaining images, however, show as much in single pieces as my scanner can get and, taken together, they comprise the entire print and its protective CGC encapsulation sleeve. The sleeve itself measures approximately 14 1/2 by 19 inches. Regarding the recent CGC reholder scandal: Please note that all CGC items I sell were submitted directly by me to CGC at various comic conventions (as well as the occasional private signing event). I do not buy already graded books and then resell them. So every CGC item I have for sale was graded by CGC and then came directly to me and not through another dealer. Please further note that photos, prints, and original art sketches (that are not on actual comic books but are rather just on sketch paper or the like - i.e. anything certified by CGC that does not have a grade - are not searchable on their site by the serial number. Only graded comics and magazines - items with grades - are searchable by serial number. However, for such items not searchable on their site, you can call CGC Customer Service and they can verify the item authentication over the phone.
