The lettering describing the piece is inset into the wood behind the player. This piece would be a great gift for any collector. The trophy is in very good condition. There is no staining to the wood. There is not scuffing or scratching to the wood. There is minor wear to the hockey stick of the hockey player (please see iamge 2).
