This early 1900s Conrey-Davis smoking stand/humidor, made in Shelbyville, Indiana, is a charming piece of solid quarter-sawn oak furniture, recognizable by its beautiful ray-fleck grain. Measuring about 24" high, 15" wide, and 15" deep, it features a right-hinged cabinet door with an interior shelf, rounded side shelf edges, and a square top with softly eased edges. The original gold Conrey-Davis decal still graces the front, adding authenticity and a touch of history. Two turned wooden pulls remain in place. The stand is sturdy with gentle wear from over a century of use?edge wear to the top, small chips, finish loss, and a seam line visible on the top boards?all adding to its character.
