This is for a heavy duty custom made reusable shipping crate. This includes hand hole openings at two ends for lifting/carrying that were added later. For reference this has "DIY crate" hand written on it in small text. This is in between a wood crate and heavy duty cardboard box. This is ideal for repeat instances of shipping similar items. You will eventually save on the time and expense of building a new crate each time. This is for shipping those items that are too fragile or too heavy for a corrugated box but don't quite require an all wood crate. This can also reduce overall shipping costs at about half the weight of wood yet this is the full strength of wood via multi-layer corrugated panels. This requires no tools. This assembles and breaks down in minutes. This also reduces lifting since you can place the item on the base piece and then assemble the crate around it. I have since discovered that this has a big advantage with international shipping. Since it's not classified as a wooden crate it isn't subject to ISPM export regulations.
