Here’s TWO Thermal Fuses from a Frigidaire FFCE1638LS scratch and dent unit. They’re normally closed - 0 resistance - and one’s designed to open at 120F, the other - shown with the large mounting bracket - is designed to open at 160F. They’re mechanically interchangeable BUT NOT OPERATIONALLY INTERCHANGEABLE. DON’T SWAP OUT ONE FOR THE OTHER. THE MICROWAVE MAY OPERATE NORMALLY BUT IF IT OVERHEATS IT WILL BE DAMAGED. There are several variations of this fuse. They’ll operate at different temperatures - the 70 at 70F, the 120 at 120F and the 160 at 160F. They’re interchangeable across different brand microwaves, BUT NOT in different positions. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU’RE REPLACING YOURS ONLY WITH THE IDENTICAL PART NUMBER IN THE SAME LOCATION.
