EXTREMELY RARE! The Lexington of the Sea, 1775-1975 - Machias, Washington County, Maine. An original radio play dramatization produced by the Washington County Broadcasting Company of Machias. Writen by Daniel S. Dunn and Winston D. Chapman. Recording, production and special effects by Eric R. Lindquist. Cast includes Winston D. Chapman, George Thurston, Marian Bagley, Robert Maxwell, Charles Bodman, Dale Whitney, Allan Graves, James Aldrich, William Parker, Dr. James Payson, and Lincoln Stackpole. Recorded Publications Company Z419061/2 stereo 12" LP record album. Released 1975. Condition: Record is close to NM. Cover is NM. Comments: An historic tale of the events and circumstances in and around Machias, Maine which culminated in the capture of "HMS Margeretta" in the waters off Machias on June 12, 1775. It was considered the first naval battle of the Revolution.
