This is a beautiful replacement earring back, made by French high end jewelry designer Mecan who invented this style earring backs. They were used by Cartier, VCA and other high end jewelry lines as the backing. Just push the edges towards the center, go over the post, and it will stay on nice and firm. Measure approx. 6 mm X 7.5 mm. I only have one, if you are looking. Pre-owned but great condition. Marked Mecan 18K 750 and a French hallmark.
