This cap is in its original state from the war, untouched, is made with a Deep Navy blue wool with red topper and oiriginal side strings. The Cap Tally is of Black rayon material and has machine woven lettering in Gilt silver flat wire threads. The interior of the cap, you will see the Correct Ink stamping, with original Leather sweatband. The leather sweatband is still flexible and in good shape! This is an Extremely Rare Chance to have in your collection a Piece of WW1 French Sous-Marine Naval History.
