This is for a used pair of SSI stainless steel heat exhangers for all 1.7 and 1.8 liter 914's. These will also fit the 2.0 if you have a 1.7/1.8 muffler and hanger. Your muffler setup and related components, not the motor displacement, actually determines which exchangers you can fit. These need to be polished/steel wool due to an oily motor and one flange area needs a weld. As shown the inner right side flange is thin and there is a hole where it looks like an exhaust temp sensor was installed. Before taking it to a welder I'd try a wire brush and and modern exhaust repair epoxy. Otherwise these are rock solid tight with zero gaps where the manifolds enter/exit the exchangers.
