VINEYARD VINES HISTORY: Vineyard Vines is an American company that was begun in 1998 by 2 brothers who decided to leave the corporate world and pursue their dream. Although they didn't know how to start a business, they wanted to have fun! They began the business on Martha's Vineyard making and selling ties that depicted the leisurely life on the Vineyard. Originally their items had a beach theme. Eventually, they branched out to other products, all items that depict a sense of whimsy and fun.
