Vintage silk house coat thought to date from the 1940's. The original owner apparently wore it frequently and kept good care of it, eventually some of the delicate quilting stitches began to break and at such time it went into storage. Estate sale find. I am not sure how to measure it but seems to be around a Medium to Large, to be safe I should suggest it for a Medium size wearing person as you would want this to fit comfortably. There is a light embroidered pattern to the black silk fabric itself. Contrasting lining. Condition is undamaged. It is estimated to have been in an attic for around sixty years but it was wrapped up and there are no moth or other bites. Have it nicely cleaned and placed on a hanger and it will be a garment of pride. Two pounds shipped in a protective box.
