When Wade opened an additional factory in Ireland, this factory produced a series of figurines based on famous Irish folklore and songs. The figurines were released after starting in the early 1970s and after their initial debut were released with alternate coloring and marked with Seagull Ceramic in addition to Wade. This particular listing is for Phil the Fluter and is from the originally released set which is known for it?s bold, earthy colors.
