These are old school TOMY issued originally for their 4 lane race tracks. UNUSED BULK, NO PACKAGING.Footnote: TOMY AFX changed their system in 2016 due to governmental regulations. In order to comply with new restrictions, TOMY had to create an enclosed-motor design. The issue then became the controller, which needed to be modified with a 120 Ohm controller versus the traditional 45-60 Ohm typically used from 1972 to date. Bottom line is; Gray controllers Will work with most HO slot cars, on most systems, from 1962 through 2015. They will Not operate as a direct substitute for the Black 120 Ohm controller, when using strictly Mega G+ style, GREEN-CAN motored vehicles made from 2016 on. Please Note: Many controllers have what appear to be plastic imperfections as can be seen in the photo. These melt-like imperfections marks have no effect on performance are probably the reason these controllers were not sold long ago.
