Descripción del Artículo
This Custom made Dreamcatcher measures 11" long.
It is made of leather, beads and feathers.
The Dreamcatcher was first used by the Woodland Indians. It was hung in the lodge near the bed. The Dreamcatcher captures all of your dreams. The good dreams would filter down to you while you are sleeping. The good dreams were also held in the feathers until the next night. That way you could dream them again the next night. The bad dreams were held in the web. At first light, the sun would burn them up. That way, you would never dream them. Feathers were worn by Native American Chiefs to symbolize their communication with Spirit, and to express their celestial wisdom. In the context of a dreamcather, the feathers act as a fluffy, pillow-like ladder that allows good dreams to gently descend upon the sleeping person undisturbed. When you ware a Dreamcatcher or hang it on the wall, you will always be protected. You can dream happy dreams at any time.
Authenticity: This Dreamcatcher was hand crafted by a Native American Artesian.
Navajo Nation, Mae Stone, # 27285
