This is a Superbly crafted Javanese Bedhug Drum used in the Gamelan orchestras of the Indonesian Archipelago.....it is the size of a small BARRELL ........The drum is 28" long, with both heads of 18 1/2" diameter...HUGE!!! It is considered professional quality in Indonesia. made to the best specifications by the best manufacturers, and the same one used by the best Gamelan Orchestras in RARE and SPECIAL OCCASIONS...... This was bought by myself from the local maker and NEVER used. NOTE ON CONDITION: Some paint chips and paint bubbles (see photos), can be re-painted, or better yet, WRAP IN A NICE MATERIAL , like the Indonesians do....
