MARVEL COLLECTORS' ITEM CLASSICS # 16 Near Mint- 9.2 off-white to white pages ! Square spine with its black lettering solid and intact and aligned evenly right on the square angle of the spine. See photos. Near newstand quality bright colors across the smooth surface of the cover. Corners are nice, and well- defined. See the two close- up photos of the upper and lower right corners of cover. Edges are straight all the way around the book (both front and back) with no tears or chips out of the margins. Comic is flat with no spine roll. Tight binding, cover securely attached. Both the internal staple bars are silver and clean with no rust wear or discoloration. Inside covers are white to off- white in appearance. And the back cover is beautiful white and fairly clean, with no stains or brown discoloration. Craig's Collectors Note: When this comic book was originally manufactured back in 1968, there was a printing effect which occurred at the upper right portion of the cover, and which appears on every single copy of this issue that I have ever seen or owned over the years. Thus, since the comic came like that from the factory, it is not considered as wear over time, since the book was originally produced and printed that way at the factory with those light vertical lines, upper right.
