DETAILS These plugs are intended to be used if you are trying to replace an OEM semi-truck/tractor radio with an aftermarket unit. They are female plugs, so they snap right over your existing factory plugs. They have the aftermarket standard wire colors, allowing for easy connection to the harness that came with your aftermarket radio. Connection of these wires will be required in your vehicle. This will involve splicing. These plugs will have the aftermarket standard wire colors, so wire assignment is relatively easy to identify on the plug side. (See the standard color chart in the pictures attached to this listing.) These plugs are not fully loaded but every wire your current radio has should be accounted for. (Constant power, switched power, ground, dimmer, power antenna, and positive and negative for four speakers.) **Please note that some radios had the constant and switched power wires reversed. If yours is one of them, you will experience preset, clock, and other memory loss. If this happens, you merely need to switch those two wires (usually they're red and yellow) where you joined the loose wires from this to your wiring. (ie - Redo those two splices, switching the wires.) Appearance of the plugs may vary. In some cases one is brown. In others they are all black. In some cases they are joined together. In other cases they are separate. Pictures of both styles appear in this ad. You will receive whichever one we happen to have been sent by our supplier. Neither of the appearance issues has any effect on your ability to use the plug(s) if you originally had one of the radios listed in this ad.
