The unique design allows hand tightening and loosening for easy access into the vessel. O-ring is positioned on the bushing above the thread for improved sealing. Vessels are useful for pressure reactions and applications such as polymerization and analysis of halogens by thermal decomposition in the presence of lime. Supplied complete with vessel, PTFE bushing and Viton o-ring. IMPORTANT NOTICE: ALL CHEMGLASS PRESSURE VESSELS ARE TESTED AT 150 PSI, OR APPROX TWO AND ONE-HALF TIMES THEIR RECOMMENDED WORKING PRESSURE (60PSIG).
