Chinese version: not so much) Connector seal Terminal wedge You will want to reuse your original factory wiring and terminals to maintain consistency with wire identification. Avoid using the generic white or black wires provided with aftermarket cheap replacement connectors, they are not 100% copper. They are at best copper clad aluminum. ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS (Cheap Chinese connectors actually allow arcing): Voltage: 250V Current: 22.0A Contact Resistance: 10 milliohms max. Dielectric Withstanding Voltage: 500V DC Insulation Resistance: 20 Megohms min. NO SPECIAL TOOLS NEEDED: Since you are replacing your broken connectors, feel free to break them apart....you have new ones. Do be careful not to damage, crush or otherwise deform the wire terminals. You can use a toothpick, straight pen or similar devise to release the wire terminal and wire. 1. From the front of the connector pull out the wire wedge (the yellow part) 2. From the front of the connector, insert your chosen tool (toothpick or T pin) to push the terminal retainer down to release the wire terminal from the housing. *Make sure your wire wedge is yellow in color and not red. I do have the other version with the red wire wedge available at the same price. As you may have noticed, there are two coil connectors being sold and they look identical. They are not and the way you can easily determine which one you have is to look at the wire wedge inside the connector. They are not interchageable. The wire terminals are a different size AND the ignition coil for the yellow version has a step molded inside. Ford does manufacture frames, engines, body panels and even their own glass. Just like Ford does not manufacture mufflers, shocks, brake calipers or wheels; Ford does not manufacture electrical connectors. Ford uses an outside vendor. These connectors are manufactured by Ford's approved vendor and packaged as Ford Motorcraft service parts.
