Vintage “CoFrac Art Verrier France” Art and 50 similar items

This brilliant, exquisite, lead crystal, centerpiece bowl is a gorgeous piece of free form, studio made, art glass in a pulled square shape, by Cofrac Art Verrier France. It is large and heavy and yet so splendidly graceful. It is signed “COFRAC” on the bottom. There are felt feet, to protect the surface of whatever you display it on. It would look stunning as a centerpiece with fruit or flowers in it. I found this bowl and was struck by its beauty. “COFRAC Art Verrier France” is etched on the base, which I didn’t recognize, but I certainly wanted to know more about it, so I bought it and did some research. This is what I found: “Cofrac is not a manufacturer. Cofrac represents the product of hundreds of years of French glass making experience. It is a line of art glass made by a company formed when Cristalleries de Vannes merged with four other French glass houses to become a new company called Vannes/CFC (Compagnie Française du Cristal) in the 1970s.” The bowl is vintage pre-owned, but has obviously been well loved and cared for and thus is in excellent condition. Please know that I will prepare it lovingly for sending to you, as I wouldn’t want to think if its unique beauty marred by improper packing/shipping.
