This is an adorable, opaque green glass, framed in brass, hinged, trinket (ring or keepsake) box from Balliol Via Vermont. It has the “Curly Top” little girl design on the top. It has little brass feet and hinges and opens to a mirrored bottom. It is 2 3/4”, as shown in one of the pictures. It is in very good vintage condition and is lovely and charming. The signature has rubbed off the original labels, but this is a well known and loved piece by this designer. The brass is tarnished, but I think that only adds to its beauty, so I will leave the decision of whether to polish up to the buyer, in case you are a collector and want patina left intact. NOTE: As I am listing this, I just noticed the reflection on the girl’s face in the photo I took from above. That is not a mar in the box. That is only a reflection, as I hope you can tell from the other shots.
