Vintage original 20 x 60 in. US door panel poster from the classic 1960's musical fantasy romance, CAMELOT, released in 1967 by Warner Bros. and directed by Joshua Logan. Richard Harris, Vanessa Redgrave, and Franco Nero are featured in the story of the marriage of England's King Arthur to Guinevere. The plot of illegitimate Mordred to gain the throne and Guinevere's growing attachment to Sir Lancelot, threaten to topple Arthur and destroy his "round table" of knights. The image features an exterior full-length photographic shot of handsome Franco Nero as Lancelot wearing full battle armor and yelling as he holds out his lance. Printed on a thicker paper stock similar to that of 30 x 40 and 40 x 60 posters, it is unrestored and folded as originally issued in fine condition as shown. Door panel posters are among the rarest format of all of the different sizes of US movie posters, as they printed the least amount of these, and they came in sets of 8 different posters, one for a different character. Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero who met on this film, got married, and have a child together (Carlo Gabriel Nero). They have also worked together since, in Letters to Juliet (2010), as lovers who found each other after years apart.
