KID BLUE (1973) Western Comedy Dennis Hopper and 50 similar items

Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the 1970's western comedy, KID BLUE, released in 1973 by 20th Century-Fox and directed by James Frawley. At the turn of the last century, with the Old West fading away, Texas train robber Kid Blue (Dennis Hopper) goes straight and takes a factory job, but old habits die hard. The cast includes Lee Purcell and Janice Rule. Unrestored and folded as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet is in fine+ condition with some light bleed-through in the top left panel where a prior owner hand-wrote the film's title and Hopper's name in blue and red ink (which really isn't noticeable unless you hold the poster up to the light) and some random creases of varying sizes which are unobtrusive. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws. Star Dennis Hopper was actually 36 in real life. During filming, Warren Oates would reportedly invite co-stars Ben Johnson and Peter Boyle to his trailer for a three-course meal made up of magic mushrooms on toast, Dexedrine in brandy, and vanilla LSD.
