Offered here is this wonderful Rare Victorian Era E. G. Webster Son Co. Silverplate Crumb Tray. I am unsure of the exact age of the piece, but it certainly dates to between 1880 and 1899, possibly turn of the Century. It is in very good condition, with quite a bit of tarnishing, and some small surface scratches as well. It is hallmarked on the bottom with the Webster Son markings, Quadruple Plate Hard White Metal, and the number 4, which is probably the pattern number. It is 8.75" front to back including the handle, 6.75" front to back, and 8.5" across. It is a nice Victorian silverplate piece, and a very hard to find pattern. It has a beautiful scrolling pattern etched on the front. It is in need of some TLC, but would be a welcome addition to any vintage silverplate collection, and would be simply gorgeous when polished.
